Tenemos un segundo video para la nueva página!

Luego de la versión en Lengua de Señas Mexicana que hicieron Ernesto Escobedo y su equipo, celebramos la llegada del segundo video para nuestro proyecto de renovar la página cultura sorda. Se trata de una traducción a señas internacionales hecha por Mª Angeles Durán en España. El texto traducido fue un interesante artículo escrito por M. Miles, un historiador inglés que ha publicado algunos textos en nuestra página. Se trata del breve relato de la tradición egipcia del bote sordo de la buenaventura, según lo recogió el historiador persa Nasir Khosrau en el Siglo XII d.C,

Mª Angeles es una activista sorda española que ha hecho importantes contribuciones a nuestra página web. Cuando comenzamos a publicar textos de lectura sencilla, el año 2008, Mª Angeles tuvo la idea de traducirlos a señas internacionales. Esto resultó un éxito: los videos, que Mª Angeles publicó en su Vlog visual señas extremeñas  y nosotros enlazamos a cultura sorda en la sección Lectura sencilla recibieron una inmediata acogida entre los visitantes sordos, que comenzaron a incorporar los temas de los videos a sus conversaciones. Incluso aparecieron entonces otras "versiones" de las historias contadas por Mª Angeles en varias páginas web. Esta experiencia es una de las bases que anima ahora la transformación de la página, por lo que estamos muy agradecidos a esta amiga española.
